It allows you to promote your website and products in a most efficient and cost-effective manner. Here are the 3 maximum secrets to breakthrough with article marketing:

1. Always consider your potential audience. Before you write your articles, determine if the information you will provide will suit your readers and if these will be helpful to them. Also, make sure that you use a writing style that they can easily identify with. Lastly, write as if you are talking to a friend so your readers will be at ease and will be able to easily understand what you are trying to get across.

2. Consider the requirements of publishing sites. To make sure that your articles will be accepted by major publishing sites, you need to follow their basic requirements. This includes; articles must not contain blatant advertisements or sales pitch, they must not contain inappropriate content, they must meet the minimum word count (which is usually at 250 words), and they must not have hyperlinks on the body. Exactly How To Submit Articles To Get One Way Links

This is a problem we face since the so called Duplicate Content Theory. Article submission to hundreds of websites is no longer effective and also dangerously bad. Is that correct?

When you submit your article to a 100 directories, search engines than find 100 links to your site (in a day) all with same anchor text. They consider this as spam.

But, most often article directories do not approve your articles instantly, some take a day, others a week so you won't get too many links at once. So you can still use a software to submit your articles, and the more you submit the more backlinks you get. That's the great thing. There are no bad side effects by doing this.

Secondly, you should change the anchor text often. Put a keyword in the anchor text.

Here's the best method to get one way links using articles:

1) Create an article.

Then post the article on your blog or website. Your website needs new content create a new page for each article. Then put a link to each of your articles on a page which you may call Articles. Do not link to each of your article pages from your homepage, keep everything well organized both for search engines and your visitors.

2) Wait until the search engines index the page with your article, that way the article is now yours. Search engines now know that you are the owner of the article. To get the page indexed fast you can link to it from the sitemap or from the homepage until it gets indexed, then remove the link.

If your website is brand new, skip this step and do not wait until the article gets indexed before submitting it to article directories.

3) Now you can submit your article to major directories.

Finally contact webmasters that are publishing articles on their website and ask them for a link exchange. This may be the most difficult part, that is why I skip it or work less on it.

You can though use some services or forums where you can swap articles with other webmasters. That is much easier.

4) Check to see if others are using your article on their website without using your bio information. :) This may be a good idea to do, because you can contact them and let them know and at the same time suggest to them your other articles.

Do not worry if people put your articles on their websites without linking to your site. It does happen to all of us, and you waste time struggling with these things. However it's good idea to contact some who posted your articles, and tell them you have more.

Tell them they can also put your other articles on their site. Or better yet, tell them you wish to become an author for their blog or website, so you can post whenever you want.

And you always get a link back to your website from each article. And remember when you post articles in directories add something like this at the end of the article:

CopyRight All rights reserved

That's how article marketing helps you to get one way links. Remember, many theories spread like wildfire, but not all of them are genuine.

How to Write Articles That Get Published

I get a lot of questions from my subscribers asking how to write articles. If my subscribers are asking about it, I assume that many others also want information on writing articles. Following is a basic outline on how to get started writing articles and getting them published on the Internet.

You do not need to be the next Stephen King to write articles. Most authors are people just like you and me. Write in a simple, easy to understand tone. Write it as though you are talking to a friend. An informal article written in a conversational manner is best.

Start out by writing on subjects you are familiar with. After you gain some writing experience, you can begin to research and write about topics you are not familiar with. Try to keep the length of your articles between 300 and 500 words.

One of the main components of your article is the title. Spend some time developing a good title that attracts readers. Your title is the advertising for your article. In most cases, your article will be listed along with many others. People normally scan through the article titles to decide which one interests them. If your article contains a compelling title, it will attract more readers. If your title is dull and uninteresting, few people will read your article.

Start your article with a good introduction. Tell the reader why you are writing the article and why how they might benefit by reading it.

After the introduction, start a new paragraph and begin the body of your article. Separate it into different paragraphs for each point you want to cover. By using a number of paragraphs, it is easier on the eyes and makes for a more attractive presentation. The body of your article should provide between three and ten points that you want to cover. Don't think that you have to include everything you know about the subject. Remember, you want you article to contain 300 to 500 words. Stay within those limits.

Finish the article with a solid conclusion. Recap what you told the reader and mention how they will benefit by using the information you provided.

After you've completed the article, use a good spelling and grammar checker on your work. Most word processors today include these tools so make sure you use them. If your article is riddled with errors, many publishers will not accept it. Before submitting your article, do a slow and thorough proofreading of your work. A spelling checker will not flag the word "kit" as a misspelling, even though you intended to write the word "knit".

These are the basics of article writing. As you can see, the process is easy enough for anyone to do. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can. I'm not a brain surgeon, you know. Use the techniques described above to begin your enjoyable and lucrative career as a writer. Good luck.

Article Marketing - How To Get Your Articles Read!

As a zero-cost, exposure-rich way to get your site noticed on the Internet, article marketing is hard to beat. After all, what other method lets you tell people about things that interest them, put your link into other large sites for free and virally spread the word about what an expert you are - for free?

The techniques are simple and well within reach. In fact, effective article marketing means keeping away from sophisticated literary styles. You are communicating with people who want good, clean information that's easy to digest and quick to read. It's as though you were explaining something to a friend. When you write your article, imagine that person to be in front of you and write your article so that they can immediately understand what you are talking about.

Although the techniques are simple, there are some basic rules to be observed. First of all you do need to write correctly. If you have doubts about your ability here, take heart. There are ways to get around this (notably, write short, simple sentences that have a good "flow") and tools to help as well. If you are using a text editor like Microsoft Word, then use the built-in spelling and grammar checker. In fact do this even if you have supreme confidence in your ability to write. It's extraordinary what errors can go unnoticed because you are re-reading the text that you wrote yourself. The checker will find these for you.

In addition to this, a number of article sites, focusing on quality articles, include basic spell checking as a possibility in the submission procedure. Note that quality for them means the same thing as indicated above: articles that are of interest to their readers and that bring them clear, relevant information in an easy to digest way.

Your choice of article sites will be important as well. Some of them are very big and well represented in the search engines. On the other hand, it may be more difficult to get your articles authorized for inclusion. You'll want to write a series of articles in any case to get into the swing of it and to test on various sites. Submit your articles and keep track of how quickly they get included, what the click rate is (how may people reading your article) and how well your articles get rated in search engines, especially for keywords that interest you. Then compare and focus on the article sites that are getting you the best results.

Article sites also have guidelines on length of articles. In fact, make that "restrictions" rather than "guidelines". When you read their submission procedure, you will typically see how they want articles to be submitted. For the length, 250 words is a minimum, 500 words is more in favor. But don't make your article too long either. If you find that you have a lot to say, then chop your article up into 500 word chunks, each chunk dealing with one aspect of the topic. That way you'll be able to submit multiple articles as well and benefit from multiple exposures.

Next on the list is the resource box that is also a feature of many article directories. This is where (and it is the only place) you get to sell. Do not sell in the main text of your article. Inform, entertain, question if you like, but avoid the sales pitch. Editors will often refuse articles that come on too strong on the sales side, and even if they make it through, readers will lose interest fast. After all, their goal in reading is not (yet) to buy. Warm up the discussion by degrees. Give them good information that encourages them to get to the bottom of the article and to click on your link to then go to the next phase of "pre-selling" or possibly a sign-up page for a newsletter, a product or a service.

Have some fun with the resource box if you like. Apply some of the classics to grab people's interest, like spiking their curiosity, using appropriate humor or appealing to their instincts of greed or fear. That's what will incite them to click on and go to your site, to make your article marketing a success.
